It is dry fly season once again! From o'dark thirty to last light, we live to see trout rising to a mayfly, or a largemouth inhaling a popper.
Purple Haze Cripple - If you haven't heard, purple is the hot color this summer. We have added this to the lineup to compliment the Purple Haze, Purple Haze Sparkle, Purple Haze Wet Fly and the Purple Adams. Fish love purple when the light is low, and when the mahoganies are hatching. Really, it's just a darn good fly to fish.
Foam Beetle - More and more anglers are catching onto the "beetle hatch" and it's importance for trout. This little fly is that secret weapon that can produce when nothing else will.
Cicada - There is a cicada hatch going on. If you live anywhere near it, this fly will get you in the game. It is also just a great terrestrial attractor pattern that works even if you are 2000 miles away from a cicada hatch.
Pokey - A secret little foam ant pattern that gets the job done. We love this little fly and make good use of it and think it should be in your box too
Adams Caddis: Is it a caddis or a mayfly or maybe a stonefly? I don't know, but it has been very successful since we have added it to our lineup.
Klinkhammer Olive/Yellow - Rule the PMD and PED hatch with this fly. Klinkhammers are all the rage lately, and the PMD hatch is the perfect hatch for it.
Improved Golden Stone - There is a dedicated group of anglers that knows that this is a proven winner. It is used for golden stones, yellow sallies and PMDs. That provides a lot of opprtunities for this fly.
Parachute Green Drake - This is one of those patterns that will rise fish whether or not there is a green drake hatch around. It does well as an attractor or a PMD when it needs to.
Suspended Beetle - This is another perennial shop favorite secret do-it-all pattern that works as a variety of terrestrials or caddis or whatever. It works real good and we are just letting you know that.
