New arrivals from Loon include camo split shot, tying tools and new streamside tools as well.
Camo Split
Loon's new Camo Drop weights should making fishing deep a bit easier. These non-toxic tin weights are as nice as it gets as far as split shot goes. The matte colored finish and textured coating protects the weights from dings, which makes them last longer. The coating also makes them less obvious to smart fish, as well as helping them stay on your line where you crimped them down. Nothing worse than split shot that continually slides down your leader. These shots come in a couple of different combinations. The 4 split dispensers come in a "Big Water" and "Skinny Water" options. Each dispenser contains 4 different sizes, each with a mix of different matte colored shot. The "Skinny Water" set has: #1, #4, #6 and BB sizes, while the "Big Water" set has: BB, AA, SSG, and SA sizes. Here is a chart with the equivalent weight:

D-Loop Tweezers
Loon's D-Loop Tweezers are an interesting fly tying tool. These are an easy way to make composite loops for steelhead flies or streamers. I guess you could get all crazy and do them for nymphs and dries as well if you were so inclined... Not only composite loops, it makes picking up beads a lot easier than fumbling around with stubby fingers for that bead wedged in between the vise and the desk. 
Hackle Pliers
Loon's new Ergo Hackle Pliers are a simple tool that helps with dry flies and buggers alike. The smooth, rounded shape makes tying with hackle easier. From wrapping hackle on a parachute post to palmering a bugger, these hackle pliers make it as painless as possible. Less broken hackle, less slippage at critical moments...
Quickdraw Mitten Clamps
Loon has added another model to compliment their popular Quickdraw Foreceps. The new Quickdraw Mitten Clamps are an even better way to have quick access to your tool when you need it. The quick carabiner means you can attach it and remove it quickly from vests, belts and other places with ease, without fear of losing them. The mitten clamps permit you to use them without having to take of any gloves or even find any thumb holes. The scissors included in the jaws make cutting tippet and crushing a barb a much quicker ordeal. These are a neat streamside tool that will make your life easier.
