Everybody has different preferences, when it comes to fly fishing gear. Whether you prefer a vest, or a pack, we should have something to match your needs. We have added a few more options for 2019. Here is a quick rundown of what we have.
Big Y V-Lite Fishing Vest - $39.95
The V-Lite Vest is a light and breathable vest, designed for the everyday angler. A padded collar, and mesh back design, add both comfort and air flow. It has ten pockets of various sizes and uses on the front, and one large pocket on back. This vest will fit a couple of fly boxes, plus your other stream side essentials. There's also plenty off loops to attach tools/gadgets.
Where ever your fly fishing adventures take you the, Venture Vest is ready. Whether its a week long trip in AK or fishing an evening hatch at your local river, the Venture Vest will carry what you need to make your trip a success. Reinforced adjustable padded shoulder straps allow you to adjust how high or low the pack sits, allowing for all day comfort. The mesh back helps on hot days. And the fleece-lined hand warmers help on cold days. This vest has multiple attachment points to allow you customize tool placement and keep things right where you like them.
The Minimalist Pack is a great little pack, for the angler with a light load. The front pouch includes a fly patch and lays flat, providing a work station. The rear pouch is big enough to hold a fly box or two, along with additional line accessories. Two grommets located toward the top are prefect for attaching a couple of tools. The lanyard and back strap allow you to tighten this pack to your body.
The smallest sling we currently offer, the Minimalist Sling is perfect for those looking to hold some essentials, and not much more. If you like throwing your pack on the bank while you wade, this might be the pack for you. It's "bookbag" style makes for very easy putting on / taking off. It's perfect for holding a couple fly boxes, leader, tippet, and any other tools or gadgets you might need. It comes with a fly patch that is attached with velcro; which can keep favorite flies at your fingertips, or provide a place to let flies dry before they go back in your box. This pack also includes a place to hold a water bottle, on the bottom of the sling.
An updated look for 2019, the Solo Pack is now built with heavier nylon, making it more durable. The Big Y Solo Pack is a fishing vest and backpack all in one. It's great for packing a lot of gear while keeping your mobility. Its two in one design allows you to wear the vest pack combo, or detach and wear the vest or the pack, separately. Padded and contour shoulder straps ensure comfort for heavy loads and long days. If you like options for your pack size, the Solo pack is a great choice.
The Delxue Fishing Pack includes many of the same features as the beloved Tri-Pack, including: two main pockets on each side (one contains a removable fly patch), one chest pocket on each side, a back pack section and a hydro slot in the back pack. New features include two coil zings, larger pockets, one additional zipper pocket on each side, multiple mesh pockets inside and out, and enough rings to attach every tool/accessory imaginable. One side fits most, this pack is slightly smaller than the Tri-Pack.
This pack will hold 5 plus fly boxes, and still have some room for leader, tippet, sunscreen, and even a lunch.There are loops and attachment points all over the pack making attaching tools easy. Built in zinger on the shoulder strap is the perfect place for your favorite pair of nippers. Fly patch in front pocket is a great place to dry flies, or move it to the shoulder strap and keep your favorites close by.
