We normally don't get super excited about fly tying stuff in the summer. We tie a fly or two on the way out the door to go fishing, but these Hanak hooks that we just got in are killer!We see the increasing presence of Euro style fishing in our customer base. Daiichi hooks are great, you can't beat them, but they don't have the competition style hooks that most of the new Euro patterns are tied on.
These hooks cover all of our Euro nymphing bases. There are two jig style hooks like those used on our Blowtorch fly. One has a "wave point", another has a "bent-in point". Those two seem like they are going to fly outta here. The other styles we picked up include Buzzer hooks, OG Czech hooks, and some excellent Caddis Pupa hooks along with a really good looking All-Around Competition hook
