Limitless 475 in Seahawks blue/green

Cheeky Reels made an appearance at Big Y Fly Co earlier this year.  This little reel company is making some big time reels.  There are three models to choose from in the 2018 lineup:

The Limitless is their top end reel.  Extra Large arbor means you can pick up more line per rotation.  It is super lightweight, and one of the coolest features is the integrated reel foot.  Most other reels, including the insanely expensive ones, have a reel foot that is holding your reel to your rod with a couple of tiny screws and some loctite.  While the debate will rage on if it is possible to truly make a sealed drag system, Cheeky claims that their drag on the Limitless is fully sealed and "impenetrable by the elements".

The Boost 350 is our best seller

We carry four sizes that fit everything from a 2wt trout rod to a 12wt tuna rod and a 13' spey rod.  Each size comes in a different color, including our favorite Seahawks blue and green on the Limitless 475, and prices range from $324.95 to $474.95 including a free line and backing.

Triple Play -two extra spools and a reel case

The Boost is their go-to reel for the everyday angler.  The Boost is fully machined, and features a carbon fiber drag system, large arbor and is really lightweight.  Three models fit rods from 2wt to 8wt.  The Boost 350 is the most popular reel in the shop and fits great on 5wt and 6wt rods.  Like the limitless, each size comes in a different color.  All of the spools are black, and the frames are blue (Boost 400), red (Boost 350) and green (Boost 300).  These reels range from $209 to $229.

The Boost Triple Play includes a Boost reel and two spare spools.  You save something like $97 over buying it all separately, plus it includes a Fishpond Sweetwater Reel Case.  

Tyro - die cast parts save you $$

The Tyro is their lowest priced reel. This reel combines die cast components with fully machined ones.  This helps save you some dough.  The drag is the same, reliable carbon fiber drag found in the Boost.  This reel comes in three models, all are black with gold accents, and like the Boost, it will fit rods from a 2wt to an 8wt.  The arbor is smaller than the Boost, but the line capacity is pretty similar. In another similarity to the Boost, the Tyro comes in a Triple Play package as well, giving you the two extra spools and the reel case.
